Join us at the FAB Women's Conference for a day of inspiration, growth and celebration Friday, April 5, 2024.

The event — hosted and organized by The Sheridan Press staff and its community-based committee — will take place at Sheridan College and is created For, About and By women to inspire and encourage women of all ages and walks of life. 

Conference

The conference portion begins with a catered lunch at noon April 5 in the Whitney Academic Center Atrium, followed by three sets of three workshops from 1:30-5 p.m. geared toward personal, professional and creative growth conducted by local and regional female leaders. 

The day continues with networking over cocktails starting at 5 p.m., followed by the Woman of the Year ceremony and Elyse Myers' keynote address at 6 p.m. in Kinnison Hall.

Centerpiece class

Tickets are available for a flower centerpiece-making class — conducted by Myca Sturtevant of Whirly Girl Flowers — as a $50 add-on option for those purchasing conference tickets. A total of 20 conference attendees will create the centerpieces for the conference April 4 and be able to take them home at the conclusion of the conference Friday evening. The class starts 6 p.m. Thursday at WyldFlower Learning Community, located at 151 W. Brundage St. in Sheridan, and includes light refreshments and all supplies.

**WyldFlower Learning Community (K-12) is graciously allowing The Sheridan Press and Whirly Girl Flowers to use its learning space Thursday, April 4 for a centerpiece-making workshop ahead of the FAB Women's Conference. WyldFlower Learning Community's mission and vision is to provide students a learning environment where they can develop independence, cultivate passion, and grow the skill sets needed to be successful and fulfilled in life.
